These are recordings of master drummer, Fara Tolno, playing all the breaks and accompaniments and Dun Dun arrangements for 50 popular West African rhythms.

Traditional 3- part Dun Dun arrangements:
- Each track begins with the authentic break for that rhythm
- After the break, the Dundunba and bell for 20 seconds,
- Break, then the sangbahn and bell for 20 seconds
- Break, then the kenkeni and bell 20 seconds

Modern Ballet style arrangements:(one player on all 3 duns)

- Break, then the sangbahn and bell for 20 seconds (if there is a
sangbahn part)
- Break, then the ballet arrangement w/ sangbahn and bell, together
- Break, then the ballet arrangement w/ sangbahn/ bell and all
Djembe parts together
- A .pdf file with the cultural context for each rhythm and the notation for all parts is included in the download.
Note: All parts including the shekere (shaker) are played by master drummer Fara Tolno. Each part is recorded individually and then layered on top of one another for the full ensemble.
